The year 9 design and technology pupils have been busy this week finishing the making of their holders/souvenirs.
Last Friday, Year 6 shared the Passion Projects, which they have been working on this term. Their projects included a variety of passions that answered a range of BIG questions, including:
Our Year 6 pupils will be transitioning from the Preparatory School to the Senior School next academic year.
On Tuesday we hosted our annual sports day for some of our youngest pupils. All pupils participated throughout the morning in a variety of obstacle courses and ball skill events before the final relay and sprint races. All of our Early Years pupils were awarded with a special certificate and participants medal for their hard work.
Well done to the pupils and staff of the Dance CCAs who put on a fabulous performance this week for parents and families. A fitting tribute to a months of hard work.

Summer camps at Brighton College International School, Bangkok
This event was a chance for parents to meet the leadership team in the Senior School and receive key information for their children who will be starting in Year 7 next year.
We happily celebrated the graduation of our Bright Start Parent and Toddler program, marking a significant milestone for the youngest members of our community.
Congratulations to DeeJay (Yr3) got 1st runner up for a golf tournament (Class E Boy) SINGHA-SAT Future Junior Golf Tournament 2023 on 17-18 June 2023 at Royal Hills Golf Resort.
We have had a wonderful three days with our new Year 12 pupils as part of our Year 11 into 12 transition programme
On Wednesday, June 21st, six pupils visited the Pediatrics Department of Ramathibodi Hospital to donate 150 water bottles that were acquired through fundraising during the Book Sale.
On Tuesday, June 20th, the Pupil Council visited The Mirror Foundation to present a donation of over 70 shoeboxes that were collected during Christmas for their charity program called "Share to Change." This program aims to distribute gifts to rural communities and individuals in need.
On Monday, June 19th, Mook, a Year 12 pupil, attended a special training program for teachers from the Special Education Center in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, held at Cha-am Forest Park in Petchaburi.
We were delighted to welcome our new Year 12 pupils to school today. They are here for 3 days as part of our transition programme for Year 11 pupils moving into the Sixth Form.
All this week our wonderful Year 5 and 6 pupils have been competing in the Bangkok Games.
It was a party today in the Prep in celebration of Hampden Day. So many fairground games and fun, and an epic assembly quiz. Thank you to the organisers!
We were delighted to host a truly memorable graduation for our departing Year 13 pupils. This included an emotional ceremony that comprised speeches, music, and good luck messages along with the pupils taking to the stage to collect their certificates.

Year 2 has been busy learning about “Rainforests” this term. The class assembly on Friday showcased their learning including a song about trees they had learnt during music as well as a rainforest dance.
We are delighted to announce a brand new vision for our Early Years classrooms and outdoor play and learning spaces in a wonderful investment in this vital first stage of childhood development, to be enjoyed by younger Prep children too.

This week, Year 5 & 6 enjoyed a residential trip to the Royal Varuna Yacht Club where they learned to sail, enjoyed swimming challenges and each others' company!

Please sign up for a free trial of our Taekwondo sessions with Coach Choi at Brighton College Bangkok on Saturday, May 27th, 2023. These sessions are specifically designed for children aged 5 and above who are eager to improve their focus, discipline, and self-confidence. All of our sessions are age-appropriate and will be supervised by Dr. Young Seok Choi (Coach Choi).
The Sixth Form held a party this morning to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III, which takes place tomorrow. Pupils and staff drank some traditional English tea to accompany a range of very British cakes and biscuits to mark the occasion. A good time was had by all!
Everyone at Brighton College Bangkok is delighted with news of Jay and Khanin’s outstanding achievements. The two pupils won awards for gaining the highest marks in Thailand for Economics A Level and IGCSE English language respectively. The awards cap an incredible journey for the pupils in their courses. They have both invested an incredible amount of energy, time and dedication and it has been a pleasure for their teachers to see how the pupils grew as learners.
Ms. Nusara (Assakul) Banyatpiyaphot, the Chairman of the Board of Governors of Brighton College International School Bangkok, welcomes Mr. Pisanu Suwanachata, the former Thai Ambassador to the United Kingdom, to join the school's Board of Governors. Mr. Pisanu has held key positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including serving as Consul General in Guangzhou and as Ambassador to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the United Kingdom before retirement.
Brighton College Bangkok, one of the leading international schools in Thailand, recently hosted the biggest Model United Nations (MUN) Conference in the region, with over 500 delegates and advisers from 50 schools across the world. The event was a resounding success, providing an opportunity for young people to come together and tackle some of the most pressing global issues of our time.
The Grease Cast continues to shine throughout their rehearsal schedule, this week including a 5-hour rehearsal with all cast.
The Year 3 pupils visited the Hydroponic farm next to Brighton College where they were given a tour and an explanation of how the hydroponic system works to grow lettuces.
We were delighted to welcome many pupils from our own Year 11 cohort as well as those from outside Brighton College Bangkok to participate in our second Sixth Form Scholarship event of the year.
Our Under 13 Team enjoyed the first day at the FOBISIA Friendly Games where they competed in the swimming and athletics events.
