Ahoy, me hearties! Year 1 set sail for an unforgettable adventure on Pirate Hook Day. Pupils and staff transformed into fearsome pirates, complete with hats, eye patches, and even the occasional parrot on the shoulder.
The day was filled with pirate-themed fun, including an exciting Pirate Directions activity where our young voyagers practiced their map-reading and navigational skills. They also built magnificent pirate ships from cardboard boxes, ready to sail the high seas.
The highlight of the day was the thrilling Treasure Hunt, where our pirates followed hidden clues to uncover buried gold! What a fantastic day of pirate mischief and learning!
