Year 3 and Year 4 students delighted audiences with their performance of Our Musical World on Thursday afternoon, taking everyone on a musical journey through different countries and cultures.
The concert featured a vibrant mix of songs, dances, and instrumental performances inspired by traditions from around the world, including Kenya, China, Mexico, Thailand, Russia, India, the United Kingdom, and the Caribbean. Highlights included the Chinese fan dance, Mexican stick dance, Russian plate dance, Thai instrumental performances, and the colourful Indian Holi dance.
Students performed with confidence and enthusiasm, showcasing the skills they have developed through their music lessons and rehearsals. The event was well supported by parents, families, and fellow pupils, creating a wonderful atmosphere throughout.
The concert concluded with energetic performances of Hot Hot Hot and Waving Flag, bringing the audience together for a fun and memorable finale.
