Reception Ready to Read Session!

We were incredibly proud to watch two of our brave Reception pupils take on the role of storyteller during our Ready to Read session. Sitting in front of their friends, parents and teachers, they confidently read a story aloud to the group — a huge achievement and a wonderful moment to celebrate!

It was fantastic to see the children using their growing phonics knowledge, expression, and confidence to bring the story to life. Moments like these truly highlight the incredible progress our Reception children make throughout the year, not only in their reading skills, but also in their communication, resilience, and self-belief.

We are looking forward to continuing these special opportunities throughout the rest of Term 3 as we celebrate and round off the year!
