Year 2 launched their first topic of the academic year, Me and My World, with a fun and engaging Hook Day.
Pupils took part in a range of activities, including drawing their families, playing ‘Guess the Baby’, and going on a continent scavenger hunt. They also tackled a LEGO challenge, building structures that represented places important to them, and enjoyed a story about friendship, which prompted thoughtful discussions.
It was a fantastic introduction to the topic, encouraging children to reflect on their own lives and the world around them
