We extend our deepest condolences to all members of our community on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family and the people of Thailand at this time.
What a wonderful way to end our Me and My World topic – with a vibrant and flavourful World Food Fair! Our Year 2 children have spent the past few weeks exploring the continents, learning about different cultures, landmarks, traditions, and the delicious foods that make each region unique.
The pupils brought in a fantastic array of dishes from around the globe – from North American goodies and Asian noodles to European pastries and South American treats. It was truly a feast for the senses! This event wasn’t just about food – it was about celebrating diversity, building empathy, and helping our students understand that while we may come from different parts of the world, we all have something special to share.
A huge thank you to all the families who helped prepare dishes and contributed to the children's experience. We’re incredibly proud of how much the children have learned during this topic – not just about geography, but about kindness, respect, and community.
Here’s to more adventures ahead in Year 2!
