We extend our deepest condolences to all members of our community on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family and the people of Thailand at this time.
On Thursday, 2nd October 2025, Brighton pupils celebrated the annual Wai Kru Ceremony, a cherished tradition to show respect, gratitude, and appreciation for their teachers. The day began in the theatre, with pupil representatives presenting garlands to teachers on stage. Teachers returned the wai, tied blessing threads on the pupils’ wrists, and shared words of encouragement. The programme also included teacher appreciation videos, speeches by pupils in modern foreign languages, and performances by Prep and Senior pupils.
Pupils then returned to their classrooms to present garlands and cards to their teachers and TLAs. This year’s Wai Kru reminded everyone that teaching is more than a profession. it is a source of inspiration, guidance, and nurtures a school community built on Curiosity, Kindness, and Confidence in every pupil.
