We extend our deepest condolences to all members of our community on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family and the people of Thailand at this time.
Our Year 1 and Year 2 pupils showed off their amazing swimming skills on Wednesday during the KS1 swim gala during periods 7-9. There was a lot of anticipation going into this event, as there are roughly 80 year 1 and 2 pupils combined. They competed in four strokes across the 25m pool. Instead of medals, pupils received a BCBV wristband this year if they placed in first, second or third in their respective heats.
I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to everyone involved in organising the KS1 Swimming Gala. Mr. Goop and the PE department worked incredibly hard to ensure the event ran smoothly and successfully, while maintaining a strong focus on the safety of our Year 1 and Year 2 students.
A special thank you to Ms. Aomam for her artwork and coordination, as well as to Mr. Juan, Mr. Seaman, Mr. Tangjai, Ms. Luckhurst, and the Year 1–2 teaching assistants for their valuable support and assistance throughout the event.
Finally, we would like to thank all parents and our Year 1–2 swimmers for their enthusiastic participation, encouragement and for demonstrating their swimming skills so impressively.
