All this week our wonderful Year 5 and 6 pupils have been competing in the Bangkok Games. Over five days pupils have competed in basketball, football, athletics, rugby, netball, and swimming at different venues across the city against seven other schools. Brighton College hosted the athletics competition on Wednesday and the netball tournament on Thursday.
Pupils competed within the spirit and ethos of the games; inclusion and participation for all. The aim of the week was to allow as many pupils as possible the chance to participate in different sports and enjoy themselves regardless of the outcome. No scores we kept and no winners announced, just a great fun week of sport for all, traveling around the city and making new friends.
Pupils also received a ribbon keyring for each event they took part in. Something they can cherish as a reminder of the event or wear on their school bags with pride.
