Brighton College Bangkok is a selective school. Our assessment procedures vary depending on age of entry, but largely comprise of the following:
- Entry tests
- Interviews or character observations
- Previous school reports and character references or samples of previous work
Consultations with specialist staff, such as English as an Additional Language (EAL) or Special Educational Needs (SEN), may be required with certain applicants.
Brighton College Bangkok comprises of two main schools:
The Preparatory School (Pre-Nursery – Year 6)
The Pre‐Prep School caters for pupils aged 2 – 11. Due to high demand, parents seeking entry for their children are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
The Senior School (Years 7 – 13)
The Senior School caters for pupils aged 11 – 18. Parents seeking entry for their children are encouraged to apply as soon as possible as demand for places is high.
We offer the opportunity to sit for Academic Scholarships to pupils joining our Sixth Form in Year 12. If you are interested please contact the Admissions Team.

Learn More About Our Pupil Age Criteria
Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds will be required to carry out a supplementary assessment in listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
Pupils with additional learning needs may be required to undertake a specific assessment as determined by the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO).
In special circumstances, prospective pupils may be asked to return for re-assessment.
Timeframe for Admissions Decisions
In addition to the application form, all required and supporting documentation must be submitted to the Admissions Office prior to assessment. We will contact parents in writing with a final entry decision within five to seven working days of the final assessment.
