Helping children to understand their human rights and the responsibilities is an important part of our pastoral care at Brighton College Bangkok. Since 1954, the United Nations has held an annual World Children's Day. On 20th November, Preparatory House Captains worked together to raise awareness of The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. They led a range of activities for pupils to engage with during break times including word searches, anagrams and quizzes about children’s rights and responsibilities. They proved so popular that many pupils requested to extend this event.
วัน World Children's Day นี้เป็นการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อช่วยให้เด็กๆ ได้เรียนรู้สิทธิมนุษยชนและความรับผิดชอบในการดูแลในโรงเรียนนานาชาติ ไบรท์ตัน คอลเลจ กรุงเทพฯ เมื่อมองย้อนกลับไปตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2497 องค์การสหประชาชาติได้จัดงานวันเด็กโลกประจำปีขึ้น เมื่อวันที่ 20 พฤศจิกายน เพื่อให้เป็นสิทธิสำหรับเด็กทุกคนบนโลก ทางโรงเรียนได้จัดกิจกรรมต่างๆ ให้นักเรียนได้มีส่วนร่วมในช่วงเวลาพักเที่ยง เช่น การค้นหาคำศัพท์ แอนนาแกรม และแบบทดสอบเกี่ยวกับสิทธิและความรับผิดชอบของเด็ก นักเรียนสนุกกันอย่างมากกับกิจกรรมที่ได้จัดขึ้นนี้
