The Year 3 pupils visited the Hydroponic farm next to Brighton College where they were given a tour and an explanation of how the hydroponic system works to grow lettuces. As part of our 'Ready, Steady, Grow!' topic, the children are finding out what plants need to grow well so that they can start growing vegetables at Brighton College. This visit was a very useful start to their scientific research and they even got to pick their own lettuces to take home.
