Wai Kru

The tradition of Wai Kru to teachers is a unique and beautiful aspect of Thai culture. Today, our Brighton College Bangkok pupils participated in the Wai Kru Ceremony to show respect and seek blessings from their teachers. As part of the ceremony, teachers tied holy thread around pupils' wrists to wish them good luck and success during the academic year. The sight was truly heartwarming and touching.
