Year 3 have been finding out about The Stone Ages in their Story of our Land lessons, learning all about the different eras, important artefacts and ways of life, as well as learning about how we know about the past. Combining their learning about Rocks in Science, the children put on their archaeologist hats to think about what Stonehenge, a famous ancient monument, might be used for. The children then had fun building their own ancient monuments out of wafers! Some children decided to build a replica of what Stonehenge would have looked like in The Stone Age era, and others built their model based on what it looks like today.
