The Year 7s and 8s have spent a fantastic week in Sam Roi Yot exploring the local communities and learning about the local wildlife and fauna. On Monday they learnt bushcraft skills and enjoyed a night under the stars in their tents at the campsite. On Tuesday they kayaked through the mangroves and went crab spotting along the boardwalk in the Pran Buri national park. On Wednesday they hiked to the Phraya Nakhon cave and marvelled at the shrine inside as well as visiting the Bueng Bua conservation centre. On Thursday they enjoyed a human/elephant coexistence walk followed by a pineapple paper, tie-dye making and lip balm making workshop.
