Before moving to Thailand in 2017, I lived and worked in London. During this time, I spent twenty happy years working in the field of Education and Music. After graduating from the Royal College of Music, my teaching career began. I was fortunate enough to be able to combine my two passions in this way by working predominantly as a freelance, self-employed musician and teaching peripatetically. When not performing, I taught Music at Durston House School, Broomfield House School and taught lessons privately in pupil’s homes. I completed my Music Therapy training at the Guildhall school of Music and Drama in London and added Music Therapy to my skill set. I worked with very young children with a diagnosis of Autism for many years before moving to Thailand. My qualifications were completed with a PGCE from Nottingham University and I continue to include as much Music as I can into my teaching of Early Years children.
