I’m a true believer in ensuring students of all differing abilities can access a rich and relevant education in order to become independent, life-long learners. In 2008, I graduated with a First-Class Honours (1:1) in English Language and Literature from St Mary’s University, Twickenham. I then continued my studies at the world-renowned Cambridge University where I gained my Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Homerton College. After setting up and piloting an SEN base at a large secondary school in Brighton, I then spent the early years of my career supporting vulnerable learners across East Sussex, UK in a number of leadership roles including Head of Key Stage 3 English and SENCO. I completed my Master’s Level National Award for SEN Coordination at Bath Spa University in 2017 and made the move to Brighton College Bangkok in 2020 in order to share my passion and expertise and lead on the whole school strategy for supporting learners with SEN.
