It is a pupil’s introduction to life in the Senior School and a big step on their academic journey.
Pupils are a welcomed as part of the Senior School community, interacting and working with pupils in all year groups through the house system, whilst also having their own dedicated spaces in both their own common room and during break times.
Lessons in Key Stage Three are engaging, innovative and academically challenging. They allow pupils to explore their academic opportunities and to discover their passions.
Years 7 and 8 pupils are taught by our world-class senior school teachers who are all specialists in their field. These outstanding teachers use their in-depth knowledge and passion for their subject to help our pupils develop a life-long love of learning.
Inspirational teachers transform lives, and at Brighton College Bangkok we have them in abundance. Ask any pupil what makes our school special, and one of the first things they will say is "our amazing teachers". Their passion, commitment and kindness explains why Brighton College Bangkok is one of the highest performing schools in the world.
Lessons in Key Stage Three are designed to excite and inspire our pupils. In addition to Maths, English and Science, pupils have the opportunity to learn Modern Foreign Languages, a range of Arts including Dance, and Design and Technology. We have an excellent range of Humanities subjects and a bespoke Computer Science curriculum. All our pupils are supported with a challenging and innovative curriculum designed by our amazing teachers.
This bespoke curriculum enables pupils to try lots of new and exciting things and develop the skills to unlock their unique passion and purpose. We foster a love of learning that stays with pupils throughout their lives.
Our unique Story of Our Land course has been developed to provide pupils with a real-world sense of their role as a global citizen, giving an appreciation of how history shapes the world today. The course guides pupils through a coherent narrative of the past through weaving together different disciplines.
Rather than approach the study of history, geography, philosophy and religious studies separately, we offer this holistic course. It encourages pupils to think about how the humanities relate to each other, come to a thorough understanding of the world’s complex history, and draw lessons that apply to today’s world.
With over 100 activities to choose from over ten designated activity slots each week, our Key Stage 3 pupils have the time and space to enrich their academic lives and pursue their interests outside the classroom.
At Brighton College Bangkok, Senior pupils unlock a world of opportunities, from academic excellence to co-curricular adventures. Join our Open House and see how your child can thrive, explore their passions and become the best version of themselves.
