House System

Preparatory School pupils are allocated to one of our four Houses: Chichester, Fenwick, Hampden or Ryle, fostering a strong sense of community and healthy competition. The House system ensures that every pupil feels supported, with buddies assigned to welcome and guide new pupils as they settle in.

Pupils earn points for their House through competitions and events, all contributing to the overall House score.

At Brighton College Bangkok, we believe in nurturing leadership skills from an early age, empowering our pupils to take on meaningful roles within our school community. Our pupil leadership opportunities foster responsibility, teamwork, and a commitment to making a positive impact.

Our House Captains represent their Houses, leading by example and inspiring their peers through teamwork, enthusiasm, and dedication. They play a key role in House events, encouraging participation and fostering a strong House spirit.

Our Pupil Council are elected by their peers, and provide a voice for pupils across the school. They work closely with staff to share ideas, suggest improvements, and enhance the school experience for everyone.

Our House Ambassadors support their House Captains, by organising events, motivating their peers, and contributing to the success of their House throughout the year.

Our Wellbeing Ambassadors promote kindness, inclusion, and positive mental health, by supporting their peers and fostering a caring and supportive school environment.

Our Sustainability Ambassadors are passionate about environmental responsibility, taking the lead on initiatives to encourage sustainable practices within the school, and by raising awareness and inspiring positive change.

These leadership roles allow our pupils to develop confidence, responsibility, and a sense of pride in their school, ensuring that Brighton College Bangkok remains a vibrant and inclusive community.

At Brighton College Bangkok, we ensure that all our pupils develop essential life skills to thrive both at school and beyond. Through our PSHE lessons, pupils engage in a broad range of topics, including money management, practical life skills, career insights, the importance of healthy sleep and nutrition, public speaking, entrepreneurship, wellbeing and interview skills.

To enrich their learning, we regularly invite guest speakers, including parents and industry professionals, who provide tailored workshops that bring these topics to life. By equipping our pupils with these valuable skills, we prepare them to navigate the world with confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of purpose.

We recognise the importance of nutritious meals in supporting our pupils' wellbeing and academic success. Healthy food fuels inquisitive minds, but it also brings pupils and teachers together, fostering a sense of community as they share meals and conversations.

Our catering team takes great pride in creating a diverse menu of freshly prepared, delicious, and balanced meals that cater to a variety of dietary needs. Alongside this, we provide engaging, educational initiatives throughout the year to promote healthy eating habits and a deeper understanding of nutrition.

By prioritising both nourishment and the joy of shared mealtimes, we ensure that our pupils develop lifelong healthy habits that support their growth and wellbeing.
