In Year 10, pupils have the opportunity to focus on the things they enjoy most, to develop deep levels of skill and understanding, and to take steps towards fulfilling their ambitions in life. Pupils take more responsibility for their progress, and greater independence will be encouraged as they build the foundations for their future study.
Each lesson provides support for learning, and pupils are guided by dedicated teachers, form tutors and Heads of Key Stage. IGCSE subjects are chosen during Year 9, in conjunction with parents and based on pupils' passions and abilities.
Throughout all of our academic curriculum, our pastoral programme and our co-curricular offers we endeavor to ensure that our pupils are taught the range of skills required to become an attractive and successful university candidate and even employee.
Our unique PSHE programme explicitly teaches pupils skills including presentation skills, public speaking and discussion skills. Hugely important skills such as critical thinking and collaboration are taught within our academic curriculum, whilst our co-curricular programme provides exceptional opportunities for pupils to learn, and hone, their leadership skills.
Through their own hard work, and the guidance and support of our dedicated teachers, our pupils achieve nationally outstanding results in their IGCSEs each year.
At Brighton College Bangkok, Senior pupils unlock a world of opportunities, from academic excellence to co-curricular adventures. Join our Open House and see how your child can thrive, explore their passions and become the best version of themselves.
