Brighton College Bangkok is proud to offer Sports Scholarships for the 2026/27 academic year. Our scholarships are designed to recognise and nurture exceptional talent, dedication, and character across a range of disciplines.
Sports Scholarships are awarded to pupils who demonstrate high-level athletic ability, commitment, and the potential to perform within competitive pathways.
We welcome applications from both current Brighton College Bangkok pupils and external candidates who demonstrate outstanding ability, strong potential, and a commitment to contributing meaningfully to the life of the College.
Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis following a holistic review of each applicant’s strengths, achievements, and future potential.
Scholarships are available for:
- Pupils currently in Year 8 (for entry into Year 9)
- Pupils currently in Year 9 (for entry into Year 10)
- Pupils currently in Year 11 (for entry into Year 12)
Successful candidates may receive up to 50% fee remission, with each scholarship determined on an individual basis. In addition to financial support, scholars have access to outstanding coaching, expert teaching, and exceptional facilities. They will also receive a personalised programme designed to nurture their individual strengths and support their continued development.
Sports Scholarships are awarded to pupils who demonstrate strong athletic performance, potential, and a genuine commitment to developing their sporting ability. Applicants should have experience participating in competitive sport at school, club, or representative level, and demonstrate a commitment to training, personal development, and teamwork. Successful candidates will also demonstrate a positive attitude towards contributing to the sporting life of Brighton College Bangkok and supporting the wider school community.
All applicants are required to submit:
- A completed scholarship application form
- A personal statement outlining their achievement, aspirations, and contribution to school life
- A reference from their current school
- A sports CV outlining achievements and competition history
- Supporting evidence such as video footage (where applicable)
- At least one reference from qualified coach
All scholars are ambassadors for their chosen discipline and the College, demonstrating commitment, integrity, and enthusiasm in all that they do. They are expected to contribute positively to the wider life of the College, inspire and support younger pupils. Scholars are also expected to maintain strong academic standards alongside their specialism and represent Brighton College Bangkok with pride and professionalism.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a selection process, which may
include:
- Interview with the scholarship panel
- Academic assessments (where applicable), such as CAT4, English and Mathematics tests
- Practical assessment (Sports trial)
A confidential reference may also be requested from the applicant’s current school.
