Songkran Event

On 4th April this year, Brighton College Bangkok organised a fun Songkran event, with pupils, teachers, and staff taking part to experience and learn about Thai culture. The event began with a morning merit-making ceremony, where parents joined to bring blessings and welcome the Thai New Year. Afterward, pupils had the opportunity to take part in the traditional water-pouring ceremony to show respect and gratitude to their teachers for their guidance throughout the term. The event continued with a lively water fight, filled with laughter and joy. This celebration was not only fun but also gave pupils the chance to learn about the cultural significance and traditions of Songkran. The Brighton community's activities today were truly memorable, and everyone ended the term with happiness.

วันที่ 4 เมษายน ปีนี้ โรงเรียนไบรท์ตันได้จัดกิจกรรมสงกรานต์อย่างสนุกสนาน โดยมีนักเรียน ครู และบุคลากรมาร่วมกิจกรรมเพื่อสัมผัสและเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมไทย งานเริ่มด้วยพิธีทำบุญตักบาตรตอนเช้า ซึ่งผู้ปกครองมาร่วมเสริมสิริมงคลต้อนรับปีใหม่ไทย ต่อจากนั้น นักเรียนได้มีโอกาสร่วมพิธีรดน้ำดำหัวเพื่อแสดงความเคารพและขอบคุณคุณครูที่ช่วยเหลือและสอนวิชาความรู้ตลอดภาคเรียน หลังจากนั้นก็มีการเล่นน้ำสงกรานต์ที่เต็มไปด้วยเสียงหัวเราะและความสนุกสนาน งานนี้ไม่เพียงแค่สนุก แต่ยังเปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนได้เรียนรู้ถึงความสำคัญทางวัฒนธรรมและประเพณีไทยอีกด้วย กิจกรรมของชุมชนไบรท์ตันในวันนี้เป็นที่น่าจดจำ เป็นการส่งท้ายทุกคนปิดภาคเรียนด้วยความสุขอย่างแท้จริง
